Gymnastics

Balance Beam: Firstly, my challenge is jumping to balance beam, because I was afraid that I will fall when I jump on to it, so I had to climb up really carefully. My accomplishments are walk on it, balancing on it, mounting and dismounting.

Vault: At the beginning of this unit, my challenge was to jump over person, but I overcome after I knew how to use vault really well. My accomplishments are standing, mounting, dismounting and car wheel.

Tennis Mini Unit


In this tennis mini unit, I learned that we have to cooperate each other with my partner than playing competitively, because we only had short times to learn and play so we developed more by cooperate. I  and Yuichiro (partner), cooperated by "My Ball!" and "You're Ball!". After we win or loose a stage we always said "Nice Try" and "Good Job!", because we can get more better when we said good stuff. After times goes, we're competitive skills got better because we practiced with small groups and we could fix the mistake before the play and while we were playing, we could fix mistake by talking with partners. I think I performed quite good and I think the mini unit made people interested in perusing tennis lessons.

Track and Field

In 50 meters race, I raced with Yuichiro, Wylan, Amin and Momo. I was successful because I arrive with Yuichiro on second place. I was able to do learn properly when we run 50m. I also have been improving running because I run by well running position.


a. In the sprint race, who slow downs fast wins

b. 45 degrees should the shot put, javelin and discus be thrown

c. in the rock start, our strong leg has to be front

d. the arms are important in a race because when we run, the arms are following with our legs so we need to put in right position.

e. You finish your race by same running position and same speeds but you have to go until 2~4 meters meters

f. When you reach 3~5 meters behind from the person who you are passing baton to, you say to "go" and you pass the baton by giving opposite directions to my hand.

l. You run fast until the lines that shows you to hop and you hop with one of your leg and you hope once more with same leg and you jump high with your opposite leg that you hop with.

Basketball Reflection




In this basketball unit, I learned lots of variety of skills from my mentor (Daniel P). We played basketball with our class mates to learn more about new skills. I learned how to dribble and how to shot the ball properly by my mentor. We shot the ball in many different places but we first shot in same place so we can learn better to shot.

My mentor who is Daniel P, thought me about dribble and my right shooting positon. It really helped me to learn basketball by communicating with mentor because my mentor knew how to play before. Important thing is that I developed on hand shooting position because when I don't know how to put my hand properly to shoot, otherwise I cannot able to play basketball properly.

Climbing Reflection


After our P.E class finished climbing unit, I have been improve my climbing skills because I knew that the equipment and my partners can make be safe which makes me comfortable and learn more about climbing. The most important equipment that made me relax is harness, carabiner and lots of daisy chains because they made me stop falling when I abundantly fall down from the rocks. My belayer and assistant belayer's are trustful because they are the person who watch me and communicating which rock do I go to.

Steps Must Be Done Before Climbing
1. Climber, belayer and assistant must wear his or her harness.
2. Climber must wear helmet so they can protect their head.
3. Make the rope straight so it is easy to v-sit later when climber reach to top.
4. Climber have to make 'double 8 knot' to connect climber's harness
5. Belayer's also have to make 'figure 8 knot' to connect belayer's gris gris
6. Order to connect the rope and harness or gris gris, you should use carabiner.
7. Before you connect 'figure 8 knot' with gris gris, you should check by try to shoot the bird face (gris gris)
7. Check it's lock or not.
8. After you done everything, double check with Ms.Palko
9. After checking, climber have to say 'On Belay' and then belayer have to say 'Belay On'
10. Order to belay properly, you should pull the rope, reach, cross and you should do it again and again until climber reach top
11. After climber reach top of the wall, you should check by teacher and make climber v sit
12. Climber have to rappel and abseil to make himself safe to go down.
