Badminton Shot Selection Analysis



1. Shot selection/placement
I think I did surve and smash well but I didn't get the back hand clearly so I have to practice on that to make it better then last times. However I could able to defense better then last time because I was defensing by using my right hand. I think I was offense most of the time and I think I actually choose the shots I used. I think the smash was excellent because I aim for the shot and I smash it. I need to improve game abilities by practicing with my friends.

2. Tournament play
I think the double was most fairst and most accurate in determining a winner because I communicated effectively with my double partner and we actually did fair game and we won our games. I think the king's court was most exciting for me in the badminton unit because I always loose from Amir but I have chance to learn better things and I could see the new skills.

Soccer Reflection


Danyal was my coach and our group learned lots of things from it. We learned that how to shoot the ball where we wants to shoot and we learned how to pass long and pass short. These makes us better player. We draw all the games and we won the big game because our team were communicating before the game starts.

I think I did great at the game. I was doing gole kipper at the games in P.E. I am kind of good at attacking but I wanted to try new so I chose to be gole kipper. I did my best so I can get almost everything defenced but I can't do well when I do it on the big gole because it is to big to do it.

Skytrex Reflection



Kindness

Today I was kind to another when I teach other people when they don't know how to do it. I also did great job after I learn new stuff after Skyterx workers teach me very kindly.

I saw all of our 8A were being kind when they take care of others and they listen to others with kindness. They were very helpful when I rode flying fox. We all say thank you in Bahasa to the people who works at the Sky Trex. When we line up, they also kindly take out turns do other stuff. It was very happy to see that.

What I Still Need to do to Improve My Swimming Skills

After having 6 lessons in PE class, I really improved on freestyle, resting backstroke and sidestroke. In freestyle, I was doing broken wing thing. I had to close my fingers together, I had to put my elbow high and I was bending my leg too much so I have to make strong kick from my hip. My breaststroke was really good but I only had to change is to close my fingers together. I have to put my fingers together because then I expend my energy to do, I can get most of arm pull from here. My finger should point buttom of the pool. I got nice strong elbow when I do brest stroke. For resting back strock, I improved a lot in this one. I had strong whip kick but I had to make starfish to be perfect. For sidestroke, I had to work very hard to make it improve. I was doing breaststroke kick and I had to do scissor kick and put my head down to my arm. Order to make improve more for next year, I could use these and it will help me to make me improve!

My Swim Type

According to http://www.swimtypes.com/yourtype.html I am Kicktastic swimmer and there are some similarity with me and kicktastic. Kicktastic person is oftern short of breath and I'm always short of breath when I do competive swimming. I like to swim with my friends and I can swim for long time. I got to work on the free style. My free style does broken wing thing so my goal is to fix freestyle make better. I also can work on backstroke because when I do backstroke I always sink. Order to make better I have to see video from Ms.Palko and figure it out what I have to fix.

Volleyball Blog Entry

In order to successfully pass the ball either to a teammate or back over the net to the opposing team, you should have to bent your knees and keep you're thumbs together and toss the ball to person in our team or just hit the ball to the other team. You also have to stand at the front near the net when our team serves and when other team is serving to us then we have to stay at the back to hit it.

Order to set a ball, you should need to use block, spikes or bumps. Block is when the other team are going to spikes then we use this to block the ball so they won't pass the ball easily. To use spikes, we have to aim for the ball and when it come right we use our hand and hit hard at other team so they won't defence easily. To do bump you should bent you're knees and pass the ball to our team or just pass the ball to other team.

Order to serve the ball to the right place, you can do two types of serving style. One is to serve overhand and other one is to serve under hand. I prepare over hand. Over hand get more easire when you keep playing volleyball. You first have to be at the bag or front, and aim for the ball and put the ball up and hit hard with your hand straight. To do underhand serving, you have to put your hand down and just hit the ball like tossing.
